I've had this black and white roll of film bouncing around in my drawer for two years and my dear friend Nicole Irene just took it back to Canada and developed it at her house. Even though there's nothing super striking about these photos, I found myself emotional when looking through them. It's hard to explain what I love about getting back film. Something about it feels so tangible, and maybe it's as simple as having a wait time for results.
I shot this roll back in 2012 at my Mother's house. My step-father and her have the best gardens each year, and our favorite past-time is walking around viewing their bounty of the season.
